My house stinks lol

Cooking smoked haddock and the whole house is smelling like a fish mongers. Any ideas on how to get rid of the smell, all the doors are shut but the smell is just permiating the walls lol.

Get all the windows open (weather allowing) and let the fresh air in to run amock and battle the fish smell. Our house is open plan between the kitchen and lounge so I know this pain! xxxx

And P.S My gran always said white wine vinegar in a bowl would work but it takes a while! I find fresh air works faster still lol x

Found a new method last night. Boil equal parts water and vinegar. turn down the heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Eureka . . . NO smell this morning hooray !!
