Here we go again....AGAIN! Back on the cambridge wagon starting today. Starting on step 3 due to BMI going above 40 yet again and possible gall stones. Had a rather nasty attack of pancreatitis when my baby was 12 weeks old. He's almost 6 months now and I want to enjoy the next 6 months of his first year. Don't get wrong, I AM enjoying him but I want to kneel on the floor with him, I want to be able to co-sleep without feeling like I've been hit by a truck in the morning, I want to power walk with my pram, I want to feel like his mother rather than his granny, which I'm sure a lot of people think I am.

Anyway, I've been here lots of times but in my defence, I've fallen pregnant TWICE on cambridge so never been able to complete the plan and follow the steps properly. I have 3 children, a 10 year old, a 3 year old and my baby, all boys. They defintely need a mummy who's fit enough to keep up with them, they're just beginning their journey and I feel decrepit at the moment. I MUST do this. So far today I've had cereal with my milk allowance and half a CD bar, the hardest thing is going into the kitchen and stopping myself from having a wee bite here and a wee bite there, not because I'm hungry but cos I'm still getting used to being on an eating plan. Also looking forward to having some spare time, eating uses up so much of it!

Hello!! I've got a ten yr old daughter, little boy who's 3 in June and a bubba who's almost five months so in a similar boat to you! You're right within that first week it's the habits that are the most difficult to break! Making lunch for Jacob and I almost cut off a chunk if cheese for myself or ate his jammy buttery crust when I cut it off his toast! All these 'extras' I used to eat! No wonder I got fat lol. Good luck with your journey! The hardest battle is the psychological one ! Xxx
