Finally...Life begins
I only have one doggy now, Called Milo
(I think I have attached a couple of pics! will see when I click post!)
We are Milo's 3rd home, the first one got rid of him because their new landlord said they didn't want him, and his 2nd got rid of him because they were having a baby!
2 months after having him, we found out he suffers with epilepsy! Was the scariest thing in my life, but he is now treated with human tablets twice a day and now he usually only has a fit if something is changed, like we take him for a much longer walk than he is used too, or if he gets too many treats and piles on the pounds!
He is 8 years old, but still acts like a puppy, he is great! He is part Jack Russell and Part lakeland Terrier, but with his colourngs some people ask us if he is part Rhodesian Ridgeback - well a mini version anyway! lol
He was best friends with our cat (hopefully another pic attached) Her name was "feret" because she used to love going thru tunnels and things! A funny story when we took her to the vets for a checkup, they used to make such a fuss about what day we could take her in, it wasn't until our first visit when we realised they were actually expecting a ferret, and had arranged for a ferret specialist vet to attend the surgery!! oops!!
Unfortunately Feret got run over by a moped on a huge road! how it happened I don't know, but it was one of the saddest days of my life, and I still miss her so much. Milo does too, i have some wonderful video clips of them together, which I will post one day!
In the past I have owned, a Doberman, a Yorkshire Terrier and a Corgi crossed with a Jack Russell.
I Have bred a lot of tropical fish, and had some lovely specimans, until one day my thermostat broke and everything overheated and my poor fishes boiled to death.
Been to scared to replace both fish and cat since!
So now just Milo, who my daughter loves to death, she can even take the food from his bowl when he is eating and he just looks at her soppy!
He protects me when we go for walks, and growls at people that look suspiciously at me! When my hubby is with us, he ignores everyone!
Awwww gonna have to go and give him a cuddle now!!
Just wish they could all live forever, because I miss the ones that have gone sooo much!!
