Nandos peri peri sauce

Hi

I am a member online and all the peri peri sauces are synned but at the weekend I bought the garlic one and it is not listed so I put all the details in the calculator and it came out as free!

I am a bit unsure as all the others are synned - do I follow the online calculator and count it as free?

If so I am a very happy slimming worlder lol

Did you put it in the syns calculator or the snackulator? If theres no free food (which there isn't in this case) you need to use the snack one which works out as 1syn for 20 calories. What are the calories on the bottle?

I just put it through the calculator and I get ½ Syn per tablespoon

It's this one right?

Per 100g:
Energy 59 kCal
Protein 0.5 g
Fat 3.4 g
Carbohydrate 6.6 g

So a 15g tablespoon works out at 0.5 syns

I think the problem might be that it says a "serving" is 3 cal which would indeed be free but would be a very small portion - looks like it works out at 5g ie a teaspoon.

But stuff like this, you're really never going to eat enough for the syns to matter! Half a syn, no syns...

Excellent the .5 syn sounds right I knew there would be something but even 0.5 is great xx
