Know what you mean. Ive got a family party round my sisters today and her buffets are legendary and never syn free. Ive offered to take some contributions round so I wil have sw food to eat. I made a sw strawberry cheesecake last night and will take that and some free food. Maybe knock summat up and bring it as an offering?

Will see ya back here tonite to see how we got on! Im gonna dig out my pudding blinkers and refuse to be thrown off plan!

Have you got syns to 'use up' or are happy to flex? if so then have a 28g portion of summat yum and syn it :) that way you wont feel like you are missing out :)

i went to my nephews birthday recently and there were all the snacks and cakes that i love to eat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I made sure that i ate before going and deliberately avoided the table and chatted to others at the main eating time. luckily there were a few veggie sticks and fruit pieces too so i nibbled on these a bit.

I'm gonna get some mini twister lollies for a start, two and a half syns each, and try to stick to them, won't be easy tho! Maybe make a sugar free jelly. Been a tough week so far, had planned to get back on plan yesterday i had no syns then me fella got a long baguette and my sister got a baileys cheesecake which was so unfair, so I had to have some so i know i need to be careful as of now if i don't want a gain.

Poor you - I hate things like this, I stress out way too much before I go. I would make sure you eat before you go & if you can take the twister lollies & something else sweet that you know is not too bad.

Good luck I hope you do ok - let us know how you get on.
