Need some advice!!

I am finding it hard to this week dont know why pain in the bum though

I would like to think i wouldnt eat to much but know i will, and its a set price so even if i eat at home first i still gotta pay the same as everyone else.

My father in law took us out for Sunday lunch last week and i was very good boiled spuds with grilled chicken and green beans. But a all you can eat chinese buffet is ALOT different.

Crispy Seaweed, prawn toast and a curry mmmmm :help2: lol

I had my birthday on Friday and we went for a chinese. I was fairly good but it wasnt an all you can eat one so I chose pretty well as the reaction the day after wasnt too bad at all.
Last week I was also in Holland on a college trip with my students, again I ate really well and was ok.
You have to enjoy life, just be careful.

I also need a knee replacement. the only difference is they wont operate as they say Im too young, even though they say it is severe. Im losing weight for me and in preparation for the time they will operate and not give them the chance to say I cant have the op as Im too heavy.
My consultant gave me an 'unloader' knee brace to wear. Its great for pain relief. My husband calls me terminator but its worth it.

Last June my specialist said he would be happy to do the op even though some surgeons wouldnt do it.

Then in September i was told the hospitial trust has changed there rules and i need a lower bmi to have it done. They dont have an issue with my age (43) only my weight.

So i lost a stone on my own but cant seem to lose anymore asked the doc to see a dietician for help and she suggested the tabs which i never even knew exsisted (sp)

So iam hoping to lose some more so i can have the op and hopefully be more mobile

My consultant has an issue with my age - same as yours 43. Its ridiculous. He admits that its severe and there is no cartilage left, everything is destroyed and has been for 10 years. But he says that he could only guarantee me a knee of a 65 year old and I wouldnt like it. Doesnt he realise I would give anything to have a 65 year old knee? got to be better than a 200 year old one. Ive just resigned myself to having to wait until Im 50, but then I'll be back hammering on his door.
