Hi everyone :eek:

I'm new to the CD and started on 5 May. So far so good - I've lost 4lb!

I've previously been on Atkins, so the CD principles of protein based meals looks (almost) the same apart from it also restricts calories.

I'm following Solesource so it was quite a difference for me when I started, as I've not been on a meal replacement diet ever. However, it does suit because it takes away the difficulty of either eating something different (like only veg while the family has sausage rolls) as well as the problem of portion control (which is really my downfall).

Anyway, some challenges coming up for me as I'm travelling for work this week and will be staying overnight in a hotel :eek: . I won't have my microwave or blender with me so I'm not sure how this will work. I thought if I apply the Atkins principles (green veg and protein) in smaller quantities then I will stay in ketosis and not ruin it all together.

Happy to hear other thoughts or ideas!
