New start to a healthier me

Have joined ww for the umpteenth time. Really need to do this as have diabetes type 2. Lost some weight since I was diagnosed but have put some back on. All my own fault. Tried SW but just couldnt get on with it, too restrictive on what you can eat. Some night I come home from work and just want to chuck a ready meal in the oven but you cant really do this with SW. Got to gold years ago (1989 to be precise) with WW so decided to go this route again.

I am going to buy a pedometer this week (was too skint last week, lol). Trying not to keep any naughties in the house cos once I eat one I want another so if theres none there to start with its gonna be easier.

Dont know what I am having to dinner tonight, will decide when I get home. The mean are having burgers on buns with cheese and chips so think I will probably do something else instead for myself.

Todays diary so far though:

Breakfast
2 small warburton wholemeal - 3
1 dry fried egg - 2
1 tbsp brown sauce - 0

Snack - pineapple

Lunch - Morrisons NuMe Crustless quiche lorraine - 7
Banana
WW Greek style yogurt orange & nectarine - 1

Snack - strawberries

Dinner - will update later

semi skimmed milk for tea - 2

Welcome Sweetie :) Good Luck, Day 1 Meal Plan looks fab! If it was me, I would have the Burger and either the bun or the chips and then bulk it out with salad or veg. It just means you won't be cooking two different dinners and won't feel like you are missing out! X
 
Thanks for that Serena. I'm missing my actifry at the moment as it needs a new paddle. Cant wait to get it back again. Only got white rolls and I cant eat white bread as its no good for my blood sugars so will probably end up with chips or jacket spud with the burger. Plus salad of course. :thankyou:

Sounds just perfect to me! How long till you have the new paddle? Everyone who has an Actifry really raves about them! X
 
Forgot to order it last week but will do it tonight. Shouldnt be too long for delivery, hopefully by the end of the week, ready for the weekend

I've never had Actifry chips but I must admit they sound delicious from what people have said! X

Welcome back and good luck with your journey :) i live my pedometer. Wear it every day and feel lost without it. I don't always earn but it encourages me to do my daily steps at least :)

How many PP do you count your 190ml as? I have 150ml for 1pp so just curious! X
 
According to the tracker 142ml is 2 points (that is what seems to come up as standard) but I tested and could go up to 190 ml with 2 points so want to make sure I get the most for the points, lol.

Really? I have Cravendale Skimmed and it worked out as 150ml for 1pp, 151ml upwards is 2pp, I'm confused now! X I just went and checked again and it's actually up to 159ml which is 1pp, 160ml onwards is 2pp! X OMG I JUST REALISED YOURE HAVING SEMI THAT'S WHY, PLEASE FORGIVE ME!X

I love Time Outs too :) Its a shame that 2 Fingers are 5pp tho, I always stick to a single finger too! X
