New starter!

I have a really big weight loss needed, so i think its helping with big losses each week. Well im hoping its that and that it will stay like that! Lol

Im so determined to stick to this diet though, and have set myself a goal in september which is my works annual conference where ball gowns are needed! Eeek! Really want to look good this year!

If i stick to a planned loss of 2lbs a week, i'll be a stone and a half overweight by the time of the conference...and i should be looking like the old me again!

That means proper target by xmas! Its going to be one heck of a year but i will do it! I want to live a healthy life again!

If we work together im sure we can motivate and shake each other back onto track.

Looking forward to losing tones of weight with you!!

Im loving how supportive everyone here is it's helped me stay on track after my 2 weeks of maintaining! I wasn't tracking what i ate so iv decided i need to do this let's hope i get a better result next week!
At least I'm 5.5 off :) well done for you great start, keep up the good work!
I like having carrots chopped in fridge it's actually easier than a packet of crisps lol and we have made up jelly cups 1.5 sins for a full packet of sugar free and we put fruit in it! Really helps with cravings xxx
Any tips or advice is muc appreciated xxx

I am a newbie, joined last week and first weigh in tomorrow, feel really nervous actually as I have no idea whether I have lost anything or not as I have vowed not to weigh myself at home and get obsessive!! Had rather a lot of wine at the w/end but m not sure how this will affect any weight loss. Is it ok to save all syns during the week for a sat night out?? Obviously I wont be doing this every week but have quite a lot of "do's" coming up.

Casdaspaz - don't get down hearted. Keep at it and you'll figure it out. There are plenty of people here who had a slow start but then figured it out and are doing really well. Well done on your 5.5lbs so far. I think a food diary will really help. I always realise that I slightly under count my syns when I don't do a diary because I (conveniently !) forget a couple here and there.........oops ! Good luck for this week.

Welcome proud Mum 2 2 - Hope you do really well.

You have 2 choices when it comes to the "dos" you're going to:
Either - Flexisyn the day and keep to plan the rest of the week;
Or - use 105 syns over the week - if you use 75 syns on a night out it still leaves you with 5 syns a day for the rest of the week. You really don't want to use all the syns on your nights out and then feel deprived during the week because you haven't got any syns left.

HTH.

I've been saving syns all week because I knew we were off out for lovely pub dinner on Saturday, only to find out today that the plans have changed and we are going to friends for a take away instead :(

Feel thoroughly depressed now because I'd been looking forward to it all week and I now have almost 80 syns to use in a weekend. Don't want to waste them on a take away which just won't hit the spot like dauphinoise potatoes!!!

Well I had bit pizza and wasn't saving sins.... Doh I'm struggling I need to give my head a shake it's hard cos my mam has lost 25.5lb doing it but I think she makes it up as she goes, then my dad won't eat fresh foods and my OH just eats like a pig so not much help in this house no good! Cry
