New to dieting :3

    Hi, I haven't dieted before so I want to know how I can lose 2lb a week. I've searched all over the internet for diet plans but they all tell me different things, so I thought it was better to actually ask people for advise. I'm 17, 5ft 7 and weigh approx 9.5 stone. I'm not big overall but I am in some places, like thighs and legs and other places. I want to lose a significant amount of weight and keep it off; I suddenly decided yesterday that I want to diet and stop just thinking about it, it was my first day today but I had a moment of weakness in the middle and now I regret it xD
    I want to post my food diary of what I ate today to see if there's anything wrong with it:
    8:30 Grapefruit with sugar + water
    12:30 sushi + bits of melon
    3pm (this is where I had junk food :/
    7pm ramen+chicken
    and I've been drinking water and green tea
    it's not very good xD that's why I'm asking for advise
    I've been doing metabolic workouts that last about 20mins but this is the first time I've tried to change my diet too
    My mam once tried the slimfast shakes in place for meals and she lost 2lb in a week but she didn't continue using them so idk if they'll work.
    So are there any changes or anything to help me lose 2lb per week ? thankyou x

    Hey there

    2lbs a week is not a unrealistic goal but try not set urself a minimum limit. There's time frm my own experience iv lost 3/4 lbs one week, then come next week iv lost 1 lbs but done everything the same. Even if its a gram u loose in a week, it's all heading in the right direction. But what ur doing n ur diet (apart frm the junk part) is fine. Stick to plain d water, not the nicest out ther but it certainly does help. Hope this helped
