New to low carbing need help

Hi, have been researching on web and keep coming up with conflicting information. I would really like to get into ketosis. Can this be done by having 1200 cals and under 50g of carbs also is it safe to take xenical? Or what are magic numbers.....also are tomatoes allowed gutted to see carbs in them and i'm not a huge veg eater. Are there any low carb shakes out there, slimfast is packed with carbs.

Lo carb lo fat- see dukan
Lo carb hi fat - see atkins

You really cant mix the different diets up if you want the benefit of the research and previous experience. Both the boards for these are busy and we can help you there
