Supernatural is awesome and the Winchester boys are VERY pretty to look at which adds to the enjoyment I believe.

Hot boys fighting demons in a cool car with a classic rock soundtrack - there's a lot to love right there.

Totally agree with this though have only seen up to season 3 so far so have plenty of catching up to do.Am glad you have enjoyed time to yourself.Hope all goes well when you do the exercise DVD later and nowt wrong with a lazy weekend now and then :0)

Supernatural is sounding better and better ;)

Glad you have enjoyed your weekend in the end. I find myself rather looking forward to weekends when OH is at work as I have the house to myself and can do exactly what I like with no witnesses!

I am actually being SO lazy that instead of watching the dvds which I do have I am watching it on Netflix as it means no changing discs and keeps a track of which episode you are on lol! ;-)

Normally if OH is away I get to have a big catch up with my girlies but they are all away for the weekend to another festival so Sam & Dean Winchester are my companions for the weekend and pretty damn fine companions they are :-D

Surprised I havn't succumbed to eating a tonne of junk this weekend, think the promise of a krispy kreme donut being brought home for me is keeping me on track. X

Girlies or Sam and Dean? I know who I'd pick lol
Loving your laziness, enjoy it while you can and well done for staying focused with your food, makes the donut even more worth the wait :0)

Hi there! Hope your enjoying your lazy weekend!
Just been having a quick read and great loss last week! How much have you lost so far?
How much left to lose?

There was a vegetarian parade/street market when I was away and they were giving away lots of free samples of food! I tasted some tofu (smoked tofu???) and it tasted yummy! Do you know how to cook it? I wanna have it again but I don't really know what to do with it and what to eat it with,.

Only got 8.5lb now to get to target - though I did change my target from 8st7lb up to 9st as seems more realistic and will just see how I feel when I get there.

Tofu is quite flavourless by itself and porous so absorbs flavours really well. Pretty sure it's free on sf too.

You can pick up fun flavoured ones in Chinese supermarkets or health food shops. Most supermarkets have the cauldron brand. It comes either as a block or ready flavoured pieces.

The block is a bit of a pain as it comes in water and needs drained and pressed for a while before you can use it - basically put couple sheets of kitchen roll above and below it then place a plate or book on top and leave it for a while to drain. Then slice it up and marinate in any sauce you fancy for at least a few hours in the fridge.

The ready flavoured pieces are great for chucking into a stirfry - not sure that they are free though. Not had tofu yet on sf as sticking to cheap foods but it is yummy kinda scrambled egg texture but takes on flavours well. X

Cheers hun!

There is an Asian food shop near my work and they sell all sorts of weird foods I've never heard of! So I will look in there and see! Thanks for the advice!

Veggie pasta is one of my fave cheap meals you really can fire most things into it.
This was-
Pack of peppers £1
3 onions about 30p
Smartprice tin tom 31p
Smartprice passata think it's 28p?
Bag of the bargain wholemeal pasta 20p
The frylight, very lazy garlic, very lazy chilli, dried basil and dried oregano probably amounts to about 15p lol!

Makes probably between 6 and 8 decent big portions :) frozen veg makes it even cheaper but I had some real stuff in! X

I generally use the lazy stuff or frozen herbs nowadays as its so easy, cheap and means no waste like with fresh stuff. Anything that saves money and makes life easier I am all over it :) x

Yea good idea, maybe I should get things like that again as our finances have just changed so any savings is a bonus!

I find food is one of the easiest areas to cut down spending in - all the bills are necessary sadly and I rarely buy clothes anymore. My food bills are less than half of what they used to be and it wasn't particularly hard just a couple changes and lots of cooking in bulk. X

Think that's what I'm going to have to do with food shopping etc done it before so hopefully wont be a problem.A couple of 'surprise bills'are the problem money wise plus OH doesn't get his next lot of money till september so living off mine right now.I can do without clothes right now, just cut back on things as you say.
