New Year... New Start - onwards and downwards.

It's scrambled egg but I do it in the microwave cos it's quicker and easier. Saves washing up a pan too!

I'm looking forward to my tea tonight! I've decided to make a a mousakka but am doing lots of tweaks to make it SW friendly, like the cheese sauce is needing major alterations. It's either going to be very tasty or very horrible, hopefully the first option!

It worked!! :D

I used extra lean beef mince rather than lamb as that makes it free, onion, chopped tomatoes, garlic, oregano, salt and pepper layered with slices of aubergine and sliced potato (par boiled). Topped to off with my own version of cheese sauce to make it syn free and just using my hex a - fromage frais, egg and cheese. Was gorgeous! Got another one for tomorrow :)

Looks delicious! Might have to try that myself!

It really was, I wasn't sure how the cheese sauce would work out but it actually worked really well.

I've decided that I'm going to walk to work all this week. It's not far really, 15-20 minute walk and I said when I moved that I would walk but the weather, needing to take or bring back books or just not being ready to leave in time has stopped me. It's gorgeous weather this week and I rarely bring books home to mark now, I do them at school and know there won't be a lot to do this week so I might as well make the most of the weather and walk and then it's also at least half an hour of exercise each day as well. I just wish I could go to school in shorts and flip flops!

Morning Caz!

Sounds like a fab plan!

It's so quiet on here at the moment, where is everyone?! I don't have that many posters on my diary anyway I guess so when a few are missing it feels empty!

So tired this morning, it seems to be getting harder and harder to wake up each morning :( I even had a decent night's sleep last night. Done lots of packing. I've planned my clothes for every day until I properly move next Thursday and they're hanging up, the rest are packing. Cushions, photo frames, candles etc are all packed. There's not really a lot left to do now so I may leave it for moving next week as it'll definitely all fit.

SW meeting tomorrow. Interested to see how I've done this week, I'd like 3lb which considering the half a lb gain last week is doable hopefully. I'm going to buy a 6 week countdown I think, it gets me a week free so I might as well. No backing out then either!

Morning Caz!
So organized. Good plan on the pre-paying to be committed. Make sure it's not just for this local thing as you're moving soon. Fingers crossed for a good loss!

I checked last week, I can take it with me if I transfer over.

Walking was good, only just over 10 mins each way. Done it again today but will be longer coming back as I've got to pop to the supermarket after school.

So ridiculously tired, struggling to get through the day!

Hi Caz -- not too long now!!!

Could you walk to work from your new place or is it more than a couple of miles? I walk everywhere these days, hate having to use the car, especially when it's hot.

Great spontaneous fitness.

Haha SQ you dirty, dirty girl!!

Yeah F, quite far. It's only 6.5/7 miles so not far to drive but too far to walk unfortunately. Aaron is talking about cycling to work again but he was miserable doing that before so doubt he will!

Had school lunch today, meant to order a jacket potato and beans but completely forgot and so had to have spaghetti bolognese, was that or fish fingers. Pasta was free, the mixed veg I had with it was superfree, hopefully the bolognese mince wasn't too bad, there wasn't loads of it so should be ok. I think!

The mince won' t have been too bad caz. Was it nice? I know javelin food envy.

It was... reasonable lol I'm not sure I can go as far as nice. My tea however? Delish!!

Nom! I do love Slimming World! :D

Food looks fab! We're doing beef kabobs on the grill. Too hot to cook in the kitchen. I'll be prepping something for the grill tomorrow, too.

I love cooking things on the grill but as a proper BBQ, never do it otherwise. Put some stuff in the freezer today and realised I've still got a fair bit in there. Only got 4/5 evening meals left in this house! Going to have to try use it all up. Which just reminded me, I've got some mini sausages and sausage rolls to cook for tomorrow. Good thing I remembered!
