Advice - drink LOTS of water!!!! :) and just enjoy your time on LT - it really is quite a learning curve! xxx

Firstly, Well done on givings up the cigs, thats gonna be my next goal.
If you like coffee drink it black and this stops you feeling hungry also drink loads of water but spread it out throughout the day.

Well if you can give up the cigs ....then this diet will be a cinch for you! Welcome! Water, water and water! Hot water bottle if you feel a bit crappy or sorry for yourself. Roll on the weigh ins! If you stick to the plan you really won't be at this all that long!

Hi hun!! Welcome to LT!! As you've already seen...water is they key, lol. You'll have developed gills by the end of the diet! Well done on giving up the cigarettes...like Sara said..if you can do that then you definately have the willpower for this diet! Oh and a tip for the first few days to a week..try to keep yourself busy but take it easy too. You'll find it easier to keep your mind off the thought that your not having food if you get me lol xx

going into my second week blondiecat. The first week is really hard but this week is feeling much easier. You will be delighted with your first weigh in. dont give in....you gave up cig's you can give up food for a while too. Welcome.

Welcome and well done on giving up the fags!!

The first week is the hardest but once you go for your first weigh in it will definitely sour you on and you will be so excited for weigh in days as you see the weight drop off in no time. Good luck and keep us posted.

I am just getting to the end of day 2 and have been on this forum so many times - it is helping to keep me out of the kitchen!!
Don't feel hungry but have found myself wanting food - guess it is just habit/greed!
Have poured myself another pint of water instead!

Hi, the cigs are definitely the hardest thing to do. You can do this no problem. I have had 3 weigh ins and people are starting to comment on my weight loss. Everyone is right about the water, I buy sparkling so psychologically I think I am having a treat! good luck, you will be fine. x
