Hi everyone
I'm new to this forum but have been lurking for years and as of this Monday I restarted JUDDD in hope to lose around 30lbs! I've previously done it before (last summer) and managed to lose around 12lbs in about 2 months and a bit but since I started university the weight has been hard to scare off! This diet really did help me lose weight effortlessly; I still ate like a pig on my up days but always stuck to my DD calories.
I started this diet (or eating plan rather), weighing in at 139.8lbs, now I'm at 135.8 - my last weigh in was on Thursday. This means I've lost 4lbs this week so far which I'm extremely happy with!
My goal weight is 110lbs (I'm only tiny - 5"0). I have failed and given up on many many diets, main reason is because I set my expectations way too high and I'm very impatient. This time round I'm setting myself small frequent goals instead of looking at the overall picture... Slow and steady wins the race and all that jazz! Therefore I have no set goal date because I refuse to rush this, this may be a long emotional train wreck of a journey but it will be worth it in the end!
Here's a few things I want to stick to while I reembark on this again:
-Drinking 32oz of water daily
-1 hour of cardio every UD
-Strength training every UD - it's muscle that burns the fat after all!
-Cutting out white carbs - this isn't particularly tricky for me as I love wholewheat produce however when I visit home family always have white bread, etc argh!
-Weighing every morning after DD
I really wish I had joined this site earlier, maybe this will be the push I need to stick to this because I know it really works for me!
