I'm danni & 1st just av 2 say this forum has given me amazing support & is so inspiring.
I 1st did LT 6 yrs ago (& the usual diets all thru my life!) & lost 28lb in 8 weeks. I was a size 10 for 1 day!! But I didn't refeed & although not straight away it eventually all went back on. I tried again a couple of years l8r but couldn't stick 2 it 4 more than a couple of weeks, the thought of black coffee & sweetener!!! Anyway I got 2 a stone heavier than my usual heaviest & at new year joined SW, lost 7lbs but stopped goin, life got 2 busy & stressful & last thing I wanted 2 do after a long day was sit 4 an hour & a half listening 2 how much better everyone else was doin than me!!! So 2 weeks ago last mon I restarted. 1st 2 weeks gr8, I wanted 2 lose 3 stone 4 16th June. I'm goin away, 1st time without kids who r now 17, 15 & 11, with 12 girls, 4 a 40th, which I will be in oct & I don't want 2 be the biggest there which is wot I always feel. Also I don't want 2 be fat & 40, I want 2 be fit & 40!!!
I've been single 4 4 yrs, my choice after a bad marriage then a bad 5 yr relationship ( incidently the 1st time I did this my ex used make me, after I'd made everyones tea, sit at the table with them with my shake!!! He was sooo controlling yet if u new me I am not 1 2 be controlled, amazing how they can get 2 u!!! Anyway it was his loss in the end lol) & I think the time is right 4 me 2 meet someone now but I need 2 get some confidence back. So, I lost 8lb in week 1 & according 2 chemist 1lb in the 2nd, though my scales said 2 & I also went 2 days early & I was gutted, tho I no I shouldnt be but now this week has been really hard. I'm still not hungry but just need 2 eat!!! My sons in the army so I've not had any bad food in but he came home on mon, he got a pizza & it smelt sooo good so I had some of the topping!!! I've had some pork but then I got some cooked chicken so at least if I do pick it's not so bad, but it's so true once u start to pick it's hard to stop.
Anyway I tried some shorts on today I couldn't get on 3 weeks ago & they're fine now & my scales which have barely moved this week ( I'm another serial weigher) have finally started moving so I feel I'm back on track today.
So that's me. I hope I can help others on here as uve helped me every day 4 the last 2 & a half weeks xxx
