Hello
I've been lurking for a couple of weeks and reading lots of messages. I don't go to a Slimming World meeting because my husband works shifts and I have a 9 yr old daughter I can't leave if he was working. Can't afford to do the online thing at the moment, so very pleased to find the tips and recipes here.
I've bought the starter set so have a rough idea how it works and have been getting advice on another forum.
I've been following the plan for 2 weeks now, lost 1 lb the first week, 2 lb the second week and nothing the third week - but I did have a bad day with lots of Baileys and biscuits!
Been very interested to read about the syn free treats, in particular Mug Shots and Mullerlight yogs. Just been and bought some to try tonight, couldn't get Mug Shots at Sainsburys but will order some with my online shopping for next weekend from Tesco.
My fave snacks are poached egg with baked beans and jacket potato with fat free natural yoghurt and a little salt. I tend to have mainly green days. I'm going to pick up as many recipes for family meals as I can now so I'm not cooking the same stuff every week, especially looking for slow cooker recipes.
Thanks everyone for posting so many tips.
