Hello Everyone,

Im new to slimming world, and am glad to have found a website that can really start to help me on my weight lost journey, as i am following bodyoptimizer im not going to actual meetings, i dont have the support groups to go to - so hopefully i can find one on here - i hope there are a group of people who weigh themselves, so i can share with you/them my journey - if not i will try and set up one myself :)

my story:
I was very successful at losing almost 4 stone some time ago, when I was a fair few years younger! It wasn’t too difficult then, I swamped myself with diet books and just cut out the stuff that I loved but didn’t think I should or could eat. I loved the way I looked, I went down to a fabulous size and was proud of the way I looked That was then this is now and I’m in early 30’s, and yep its all crept back on, my body looks more like a jacket potato now that a skinny chip – and I have tons of clothes tucked in the back of the wardrobe that I would love to get into – I’d be lucky to pull them over a leg right now!!

So having spent quite a considerable time moaning about my weight, usually whilst snacking on chip and drinking wine a friend of mine told me how she had planned to join slimming world – two weeks in and she has lost a stunning 6.5lbs – I needed no more convincing so I hoped onto my laptop and signed up for Body Optimize and went gold so I would get some extra goodies in the post.

Welcome Loupy. You will find support here whichever way you are doing it. We are all trying to achieve the same goal. at times this forum has been my saviour. People are just so lovely and some have a wicked sense of humour. Good luck with your journey and dip in whenever you want or need to xx

Welcome, you will get lots of help and support here, any questions just post and someone will help. Good tip is look at food diaries and recepies posted to get an idea of what others eat. Good luck
