Hi there, no idea on lighter life but didn't want to see your post go unanswered. I think most diets will leave you feeling a little hungry in the first couple of days I guess thats where the vast amounts of water come in. Are there any free foods you can have to ease it a little...its not a TFR diet is it? like I said I know nothing about Lighter life.

Stick with it, the feelings should pass real quick and then you'll be on your way

Hi Lynn and welcome.
Feeling hungry in the first couple of days is normal. Your body is getting rid of the carbs and getting into ketosis. Once you're in it you honestly feel no hunger.
Try and hang in there. You should be feeling much better by Monday latest.
Make sure you drink lots of water too. You can help yourself by adding some of the LL water flavourings which contains a bit of fibre.
Good luck and stay strong. You can do it!!!

Hi, Lynn. Mags is absolutely right - after a few days you will (honestly!) feel so much better. I found days 3 and 4 the hardest but after that it's been fine. Drink drink drink! Lots of water, black tea/coffee, anything to get you through - and early nights if you're finding it really difficult. You can do this!
