Hi, I'm a newbie!

About four stone overweight, thanks to my love of bread, cheese and wine - whoever said veggie diets were healthy. Being the wrong side of thirty has spooked me a little into finally doing something as mum was diagnosed with breast cancer in her early forties.

Hoping I can get the weight off in a year (or less!), I am doing slimming world at home, first two weeks went OK, lost 3 pounds each week (despite not quite sticking to it), however third week went off the rails a little so no loss - really hoping this forum can motivate me to stay on track. :)

Just wanted to say good luck, and I know what you mean about the cheese. I absolutely adore cheese..and everything it comes with. Pizza being one of my biggest downfalls.
