Hi people I have been looking at this forum for a long time and decided to take the plunge today and join a sw group just really posting to say hi and any hints or tips starting out :)

My tips would be -
to read your books cover to cover
Try one new recipe a week.
Never guess syns.
Always measure your healthy extras.
Finally- trust the plan!

Hi Becky - well done on joining in, everyone is lovely and supportive.

Tips? What scarlet said! Get your head round it properly and ask questions on here to make sure of anything you're uncertain of. Lots of superfree is key so you need to find stuff you enjoy - I detest salad leaves but will happily munch away on carrots and tomatoes so that's how I get mine.

I'd say keep a diary on here - it helps for those moments when you wobble!

Great advice in a nutshell there Scarlet - I would also add that when you get used to the plan then give yourself some non scales aims, ie, try a different breakfast every day etc etc x
