Hi guys,

new to ww forum (not to the diet lol) but not new to minimins as technically this is my 2nd journal as i have moved from CD to this.

Will still be posting in my other journal to keep upto date with my weightloss buddies over there, but thought it would be nice to have buddies who are on the same plan as me too :D im greedy, there inlies why i got fat :cool:.

Little bit about me, im 22, a student, live with my boyf of 4 years with our three dogs and four cats. I put on a lot of weight when we moved in together about 5 stone approx (in less than a year) there was other factors involved also but to cut along story short i have now lost 2 stone 4 pound of that through calorie counting and walking the doggies and planning on losing another 3 stone 2 pound to get to my goal weight.

I went to my local meeting tonight to which i officially weighed in with clothes and all at.......... 11 stone and 6 pound :eek:. So ive put on all the weight i lost in the past 3 weeks except 3/4 of a pound :p. Ah well 3/4 of a pound aint to be sniffed at thats a quarter of my chihuahua, Betty hehe.

I don't know what everyones elses experiences are but in the 27 different weightwatchers meetings that ive started (ive been to that many i had to start going to ones ide already been to in the past and had to use fake names and addresses :8855:) used my my real name today though :D. Anyway back to my point, it keeps saying on the site and in the magazines about how welcoming everyone was but everyone of them ive been to i was ignored and sat on my own and wasnt welcomed into conversations at all. Im not a complete social hermit and i did actually try to have a convo with someone in the queue but she ignored me:cry:. Ah well we shall see next week but youde think the leader would spend abit of time welcoming you into the group etc.

Is anyone going to be weighing in on a tuesday as we could support each other along?

hello there and welldone on your loss so far :)

ive never actually been to a ww meeting myself as ive always just done it myself from home but i agree - you would think that the leader would make you feel more welcome!

hope that next week is a little less uncomfortable and that the clickyness is gone.

Thanks hun, just been looking at your pics - you look great! theres no way ide have the confidence to put my pics up though. Hopefully as a bit more weight comes off i might pluck up the courage (there wouldnt be any before pics though cos i never get my picture took ever lol). Ide really like to be able to get a one of me and my boyf together but even when i was 9 stone before i thought i looked horrible and never had the confidence to do it, hoping that all changes this time around :D.

Hi, I went to my first meeting last week and I must admit it felt the same. The leader never welcomed me or the other new lady and I sat next to people but on my own, no-one spoke to me. This week I made the lady next to me talk to me, she had taken part in the great north run and I asked her time. I think sometimes you have to make the effort first. I know next week I will be able to make eye contact and we will get on. There are some women there that I have no interest in getting to know, nothing in common and they have their own click so no point trying to muscle in.
Alot of the people in my group have brought a friend but none of my friends are over weight or care about losing any weight so I am definitely doing this journey on my own. But I hope that over the next few weeks I will get to know a few others, give it time you might make a good buddy to help see you through, if not you have us :D

Hi guys,

Thanks for your comments last night busybee. Im not going to let it get to me, next week when i go to meeting im gonna talk to any new people who start (if any) and go from there.

I havent had anything to eat today yet (thank god for pepsi max :D:D) as ive been running around all day like a headless chicken. Its also been a very stressful day (which means i want to eat everything). My neighbour rang the rspca to report me saying i wasnt looking after my cats out of spite for me asking her to turn the volume down at her house (she's in her 30's has took up with yet another guy and they have parties til 5am in the morning and stand outside in the front street smoking and being ridiculously noisy) other than that i live in a lovely street and she used to be lovely before this new fella, anyhow she moved the other week and reporting me was her leaving present (she drunkenly shouted it at me!), anyway rspca have turned up five weeks later (seriously!) and have seen its all a load of nonsense, said they get these types of calls all the time but they need to check them all out etc. I know my animals are perfectly well looked after but it still got me worried! That and the embarrassment of the van parked outside my house!

But anyway just glad thats over. Have sent OH to asda for some low point food for me to have tonight as i feel like eating everything, i thought that if i ate alot of the same thing then it might help me as in no way, shape or form am i coming off this diet/going over my points! I will be 10stone or under for this christmas coming whether the binge eater in me likes it or not! Talking of im a member of OA (overeaters anonymous) and my group meets tomorrow so im going to make the most of my travel pass that im getting tomorrow. Need to take dog to get boosters, go through newcastle to meet OH and take his jeans back/ do a little shopping, go food shopping at big tesco and then off to meeting through newcastle at 7pm. Hopefully with me being so busy tomorrow it will keep my mind off food!!

I forget people read these diary's i proper write a load of rubbish lol. Hopefully will start to get a bit more interesting, but i doubt it lol.

My first mini goal is just to get through this week and get to my first weigh in!
