Ok food update for today...

Breakfast: WW Yogurt
Exercise: 50 mins at gym - 20 mins run (nearly killed me with a hangover!) and 30 mins on bike
Lunch: Pasta n Sauce made with 125ml SS Milk (half HEA), Apple, 2 Satsumas
Dinner: Extra Lean Mince Chilli Con Carne filled with loads of onions, carrots and peppers, Boiled Rice, 15g cheese to top (half HEA), 2 tbsp Guacamole (3 Syns), 3 tbsp fat free greek yogurt
Dessert: Chocolate Scan Bran Cake (HEB & 4 Syns) with Vanilla Quark "Cream" and Raspberries

Summary: 1 x HEA, 1 x HEB, 7 Syns, 50 mins Exercise - back on track :D

Pic of my superfree-filled chilli, got to love hidden veggies even as a grown-up!! and my gorgeous raspberry cream Scan Bran Cake :D

Update at midnight: I am seriously stuffed after all that food!! How this can be a "diet" I will never know! :D

The scales are still showing 11st 11.75lbs this morning :sigh: What did I do so wrong to deserve that?? Surely one day of drinking gin & slimlines, a few slices of pizza, a few chips, and a bowl of chicken wings shouldn't equal a 3lb gain?! Am a bit gutted, was hoping it was just a one day blip on the part of my body - no hope of getting my Club 10 this week now :(

However, I am not going to let this set me off track (tempting as it is to just have a full on blow out and eat a ton of chocolate!!), and am going to have a green day today to see if that helps...

Breakfast: Beans (SS) on Toast (HEB) with 10g low fat butter (2.5 Syns), 2 Satsumas (S), Pink n White (2.5 Syns)
Dinner: Mac N Cheese from the magazine (HEA) with a bowl of mixed salad (S), Pineapple (S)
Snacks: Scan Bran Cake (HEB & 2 Syns - trying making it without the golden syrup) with Sweetened Quark & Raspberries (SS)
Supper (if I need it): Butternut Squash (S) & Sweet Potato Soup

Summary: 1 x HEA, 2 x HEB, 7 Syns, 6 Speed Foods, 1 Portion Scan Bran

erm tips - be realistic, tell people you've got headaches when parties are planned, drink lots of water. I mean it, lots!

When you have dinner, have your dinner, dessert and treat all at one sitting and then you know for the rest of the evening you can't eat, makes it more black and white.
I find that if you 'save' food, you just end up thinking of food all night, have your treat and then think what can i have next?

My losses have been much slower so far, would love to be one of those people who can lose 4/5 lbs a week (like I used to be able to myself!) :)

I think it's the party one I need to take on board - might have to exercise that excuse this Saturday! Am pretty good on water, have always got a 1l bottle or a pint glass on the go, but the evening nibbling is totally me - I'm always saving my syns and healthy extras for when an attack of the nibbles strikes before bedtime :D x

For example, I'm quite a big gamer. If I'm playing on xbox or PC, 30 minutes turns into 75mins and I get passed the food cravings as my mind is occupied.
Something like reading doesn't work as you can still think of food whilst reading your Mills and Boon.

The only thing that takes my mind off food is being active - whether that's exercise, cleaning, sorting, chasing the cat, or whatever else! I tend to do my exercise first thing in the morning though, and my house is far too small to be cleaning it every night ;) Am going to start dragging my housemate out for walks & runs in the evenings I think now it's getting lighter and warmer.

PS. Less of the Mills & Boons insinuations please - I do read some tat but it isn't that bad! :p

I actually was meant to go to a party on Saturday night which would involve food and copious amounts of alcohol but I was given antibiotics by the doctor last week who advised not drinking whilst on them.
I was actually quite pleased to be given them as it gave me a ready made excuse not to go. I know that sounds a bit strange to some of you but I'd rather be at home than go out and just drink soft drinks and watch what i eat.
Having said that, 2 weeks prior I went out, stayed on Gin/Tonic all night and from the buffet had 3 sushi rolls and nothing else. I'd already made WW jelly which was in the fridge waiting for me when i got home drunk. And I still lost that week.
Sorry about the Mills and Boon reference!
