Get yourself on t'internet and look for chair exercising. It's for people with mobility problems. No reason why you can't exercise your upper body from your chair whilst the ankle heals.

Oh dear! I can sympathise, as I had knee surgery yesterday, was expecting to be able to walk afterwards, but they did something extra and now I'm on crutches and off work for six weeks. The nain thong is to keep your calories under control, don't worry about exercise. If you're anything like me, you'll only be able to eat what othet people bring to you, lol. All the best. xx
