ProPoints Not going to eat like a Rabbit

Hello. I am Michelle. I am not new to Minimins as was previously an Atkins "dieter", which I loved may I add, but as soon as i stopped following the Atkins plan the weight just piled on, it is just too difficult to follow long term. I have been a WW online member for a few months now but have only been dipping in and out of it but as from Thurs last week i have made a vow to stick to it proper.

So WI for Thurs 4th July 11st 11lbs
 
I am determined I am going to eat proper food but make sensible swaps and educated food choices. I work shifts so find it very hard to stick to a food plan but I am determined not to eat like a rabbit. Yesterday for example i really fancied a pork pie, now usually i would eat just one mini one on its own but wouldnt feel satisfied so would eat another and .... You get what i am saying. So what i did was chop the mini pie (5pp) into 1/8ths and added it to a small salad all mixed up with a wee bit of lighter than light mayo and heyho was full and satisfied. Hopefully i can continue thinking of alternative ways to still have what I love.

What about others? Does anyone else have novel ways of enjoying what they love without missing out? Xx
 
Ahhhhh - hubby cooked dinner. He doesn't think. Lots of points today gone on sausage and mash :( - lots of fruit will be taken to work today to snack on. Jumped on scales this morning - lost 5lbs since Thurs so good start, although will not count my chickens yet.

Thats nights finished for now - yayy. Took tons of fruit to work and no money so i wouldnt be tempted to raid the snack machine. Someone brought cake in one night too. To curb my chocolate fix i took sachets of WW hot choc for that 3am craving i always get. Have discovered that Calippo mini ice lollies are only 1 PP each so treated myself to a couple of boxes to get through this heatwave we are enjoying. Currently sitting in the garden enjoying a nice fresh beef stir fry, added soy sauce, chinese 5 spice and garlic, its well nice.
 
Been storing my grapes & berries in a container in the fridge -to keep them a bit longer in this hot weather - also easier to grab a handful when i am feeling like chocolate lol

Mini twisters are only 1pp too and I love them. I found some little ice cream tubs too from aldi they are so yummy 4pp though xx

Wow this is my days food for work. I have eaten breakfast. Total PP for the day 27 (because i forgot to add the yoghurt in i have gone 1 over). Do not think i will be able to eat all this. Oh and official WI 5lbs down in one week. Yayyy. Now at 11st 6lb - i am aiming for 10st x

Well done!! You're so organised taking all that food into work! But it does help to avoid snacking etc.

Todays pack up. Had cornflakes with pineapple on for breakfast. No veg with my dinner (the curry) but not the end if the world. I am working 4pm - 2am tonight and tomorrow. Hate that shift. :(
 
Really really stressful night at work, got rather upset with frustration, this is when i would usually reach for the snack machine but instead i ate my WW rich toffee choc bar - oh my yum and only 2pp. My last shift tonight before rest days and so need rest. X
 
Bet ya feel beta now for not going to the machine! It's so hard when you are stressed up to your eyeballs and just crave sugar but ya didnt cave in Hun so well done you! Hope tonight goes better

This is the sort of thing i use the extra 49 points for. 2pp used to add some low fat cheese to the top of my omelette :)

Although with only 2 days left til WI including this ive only eaten 4 PP of the 49.
