I've found out about the bath as well, it's to prevent the baby's head going under water, which could happen with the old ones it seems.

Aah, she's so cute! I think they make a bucket saddle attachment so riders can take their babies out when they're tiny - my daughter's horse mad and says she'll be using one if she ever has children. We'll have to make sure she gets one of those baths too! Such beautiful photos Jim x
