OMG!!! Pre-packed Stir fry veg PPs

I normally just chuck my own stuff in to do a stir fry but running out of time today I purchased a mushroom pack from Sainsburys.

Contents: Mushrooms, beansprouts, White cabbage, green cabbage, carrot and white onion. No sauce, no oil. 350g pack which by the time it cooks down is enough for 1 big filling lunch.

But I worked its PPs out on my calculator and it comes to 6!!

Is that correct and why?? I don't understand why veg is free but chopped up and put together it is lethal in the PP department!!

Can anyone shed any light please? I may have to ditch forever one of my favourite low point meals!

Dont bother working out pp for prepacked veg IF it has no sauce or oil in it. All foods have calories including veg. So even though they're 0 on WW, if you work out using NI, it might sometimes work out as a PP value. If it had no sauce or oil or anything but veg then it doesnt need to be counted.

Oh Thank you!! :thankyou:

that has reassured me......and turned my frown upside down! :D

As we were I am well under points today, trying to make up for yesterday.

xx

I agree ladies, as long as the fruit or veg has no sauce or oil on it, it's FREE!! Don't panic. Your favourite meal is a guilt free one!! carry on as you are x
