    Hi All,

We have a type of air-dried cure beef here called pastirma, would dried meats be free on red and ee?

    Thanks

I can't see why not but maybe best bet would be to email sw direct and ask them as there is nothing in my book about dried meats.

If it is free on red it will be on EE

No its like very thin slices of beef which are quite spicy and dried....sounds gross but you only have a tiny bit for loads of flavour :)

As long as the meat is lean, then you should be fine. Pastrami is free.

    Thanks girls,

I think it probably is Pastrami looking at the descriptions online, I will cut away any visible fat anyway and have some small pieces where I would normally use a salty bacon....like in pastas, potato salad etc....we dont eat pork so cant use bacon! :)
