    I love pearl barley Bought a bag today but it takes 90mins to cook. Question is if I cook a huge batch can it be frozen so when I make soup I can just throw it in ? lol

    I'd just pop it in a freezer bag.

    I do this with millet too, then just give the bag a good hard whack to loosen it all if I need any and only take out and defrost as much as I need.

    i have also added it frozen to soups aswell and just defrost and warm through.
