Gonna get slim
Hi,
I'm new to this site and have restarted LL today. Last year I lost 8 stone between August and December but had Christmas off and never went back on it! I regained all the weight and more besides. This year I'll definately be abstinent over Christmas. I have 1 year to transform myself for my graduation ball next year. Assuming I lose just over a stone a month I should be looking pretty good by then...though at times the amount I need to lose seems too great to think about. I need to lose about 15 stone in all and want to do this without having a gastric bypass. My mum has just had one done and is losing weight but it's a lot to have to go through and for me it would be my last resort. Besides I want to be in control of myself rather than have to rely on surgical restriction.
I thought that there were quite a few people restarting-maybe we could form a kind of group for motivation? I saw something similar in the other LL forum. What do you reckon?
