Peppers powder pepper

Anyone knw the syns for pepper not the veg but the pepper powder you would put on steak as i like them on my sw roast potatoes??? get them from butchers?

Not too sure what you mean. At first I thought you meant ordinary pepper, out of a grinder or a shaker, which is free. But then you mentioned getting it from the butcher, which I don't understand. Could you clarify?

Butcher's would sell them as they are the pepper that goes on the steak to make peppered steak, like and orange black sort of granule like powder

Then I think you would have to ask the butcher what goes into it. Difficult to guess what the ingredients might be, and it is possible that it might be bound together with some oil or fat. So the only way is to ask.
