Pixies Diary...

Hi Kirsty and a belated happy new year. Sounds like you are well and truly back on the wagon so well done.

Sorry to hear about Bec's skin problems; hope the phototherapy works. Have you considered acupuncture? A friend of mine has had very impressive results from it.

Oooo not thought about that! ... will look into it thanks for that :) xxx

got some points left so am just off to make some ww toast and jam and the last cuppa of the night :) xx

Hey all ... Day one was great Gemma :) i was 100% ... i am sooo hoping this will last! ...
Have been cleaning this morning and have been under the beds so some serious excersize lol ...

Tea - meatballs 3 sauce 2 veg 0 and pasta 3

Well done on sticking to plan 100% :) How did Becs get on about PE? x

Hey Jax ... aparently they said they can find her other thing to do, but she would need to bring in a note ..
so hopefully thats sorted.... thing is though im not sure if they realise that this condition can go on for upto 5 months at the worst !

Thats great news - ring doctors surgery and see if you can get a doctors note from day one. It will be easier in the long run - if they know its on medical grounds and at GPs request. Good luck. Oh and I think it was Karen who suggested accupuncture - sounds like a good idea if you can afford it x

Thanks Starry :) it feels good to be back .. i dont feel like a fraud anymore ! ...

Becca was so upset earlier, she came in from school and showed me her rash .. it looks so red and inflammed ...
i slathered her with aqueous cream and she looked at me and said she didnt know how she would cope with this for 3-5 months and started to cry :( I feel so so helpless! .. i told her if i could take them away and have them myself i would but i cant so all i can do is be here for hugs and plenty of moisteriser! ...

A few of the boys at school have been making comments but she is giving as good as she is getting, and she has a few VERY supportive friends male and female who are keeping an eye open for her! ...

wish it would just bloody go away! its so bad! ... she has joined up a P support group online which have chat boards for the under 19s so at least she can be in touch with teens like herself ...........
roll on Feb!

On a slightly brighter note ive had another 100% day 17.5 points in total and a ww pud waiting for me in the freezer so thats 20.5 :) 1.5 under hehehe ...

so sorry to hear Bec is getting upset.. its so awful whats happening, i really hope she improves soon.

well done on your 100% day though - you are doing so great! xxx

Poor Bec. My OH has very severe excema and he gets terribly depressed sometimes.

BTW, if you have a college or uni nearby that provides training in acupuncture you can get it cheaper if you don't mind the students doing it.

Aww pixie * big hugs * for both of you. Hope it calms real soon!

Hi Kirsty

I'm so sorry for Bec especially with itching. My daughter had very bad ezcema for 2yrs and I felt really sorry for her at times when she got the itching. We had to stop her from scratching cause she would do it like she has no feelings. We start bathing her in powdered oats and cream her skin with Aveeno Cream which helped alot.

Hope you get a doc app so you can get some thing to stop the itching. Well done to Bec for finding a forum with other her age who have the some problem. At least she might get some tips as to how to reduce the itching. Have a wonderful day hun.

God, I feel like such a *****. Somehow I always miss your diary. It does not seem to come up on my user cp....weird. I had nasty ezcema when I took roaccutane which was bad enought in itself. I found a really good shower lotion which is called skinbliss by imperial leather I think....you think there is no way something cosmetic could help but it made my skin soooo much better when it was bad....and they all smell lush too. Worth a try? L x

Hey yeah definatly worth a try ive just been to the chemist and bought a bit pot of aqueaous cream to wash with ... and some E45 itch cream (its trial and error) so may not help ...
Somone else mentioned oats! ... think i may try that also ... many thanks :)

No Worries Lou xx xx

Well it's there on user cp now :) x am at uni so hence the lack of appearence on msn....am suppossed to be writing my final MSc essay (besides dissertation) and have managed 200 words of 4000, oh dear. x

Aww no .... sending you ~concentration vibes~ ........ :)
