i really need ur help:cry:

iv fell of the wagon AGAIN:break_diet: iv done what i normally do and tell myself im sick of dieting and how im just going to eat normally, why do i do this, i have even paid the 12wk countdown upfront and managed to lose 6lb, missed last week due to a meeting and now i seriously think iv gained about 4lb..:cry::cry:

i dont know why i do this, i have been doin sw on and off for 5yrs now and i dont know if im bored or what it is but i really want to lose weight! can someone please help me or give me words of wisdom as i feel so down that i keep doin this :(xxx

You have only been going a few weeks again if your signature is to go by so go and face it head on, it probably wont be as bad as you think. I had two weeks off plan all inclusive on holiday and only gained 1lb i was dreading going back.

Once you know what damage you have done you can go and continue to lose, you need to write down reasons for wanting to lose weight to keep you focused goodluck!

Yeah iv only been back 3 weeks and already im makin excuses L i tell myself

1 I dont have time to cook
2 Lifes for living
3 Its to expensive

Basically anything i can think of! When really its just me being me! I need a serious kick up the backend!does anyone else do this or just me?:(

hi i feel the same been overweight for years.
Dont want to be fat all my life.
Have worked out its 59 weeks to christmas 2012......so can be slim for that, so want to achieve this.

Hmm, I think sometimes you need a bit of tough love. So get out there, get back to class, face up to the decisions that have lead you to fall off the wagon, and perhaps have a gain waiting on those scales.
Then take a moment for regret to settle in.
Then soak up all the motivation from group, go home, and climb straight back on that wagon, tie yourself in and don't stop for nobody! Go hell for leather!

What you waiting for?!

Just take one day at a time, we all have bad days, hey I even have bad weeks and months. Just keep smiling, and remember why you wanted to lose weight in the first place. Im sure the good will outway the bad.

I think a pro and con list might help you stop making excuses and try to think of the real reason that you keep sabotaging yourself,

is it specific times when you fall off or specific set of circumstances?

do you plan your meals/food for the day or week or just leave it til you're hungry?

6 lb is a fab amount to lose in 3 weeks, let that motivate you, don't worry about what you've put back on as said before face it head on, go to group and get weighed and get back onto the wagon.

u r so right, i think if iv a bad day or week i just think sod it when really i shud just draw a line under it!

I think it might, aw I use food for every emotion, I use every excuse as to why I eat rubbish too! I do sometimes plan meals but I think I need to do it more so that I don’t fall of the wagon!

Thank u so much, I was so happy and now iv sabatoged it and iv defo gained but im gonna go and face scales 2mro and see what they say and take it from there.. I CAN DO THIS!!

I will have to get my will power out of the cupboard think it will need a good dusting as its been there a long time....
Have got to get motivated and plan for this peoperly.
Think i need a trip to asda to stock up on the right food.

Ah curvygirl, I wish I could give you a hug (and a shake), you can do it you just need to convince yourself you can do it!

I know others have suggested this but write a list - physically write a list of all the reasons why you want to lose weight.
It seems a long hard slog but if you take each day as it comes and focus on getting that right then the days turn into weeks and so on. :eek:

I am like you I left SW in June and am starting back this week. Think of your holidays and how much slimmer you will be. Maybe set your self little goals and little treats.

Im sure that you will do just fine, its not a race and it is by know means easy, my weight has been yoyo ing for years but I know this time I can do it now matter how long it takes.
Just keep thinking of your holiday !

Thank u so much ur so right (as are all of you) i am going to write a list at lunch time and im goin to do this! i will be doin my shoppin after weigh in 2mro night so il be ready and rarin to go 100% from thursday but i am back on plan from right now!

iv told all my friends again that iv jacked it in so im sure everyone laughn at me so im not even letting on that im doin it just goin to get on with it!xx

ur so right!! iv let on that im not doin it anymore and thats way its gonna stay, i think the less people know the better :)

I left SW last October as I'd stopped following the plan but was still going to class so it felt that I was paying each week just to feel a failure. In the year that I've been 'off' SW, I've gained the 4 stones I'd lost, pus some extra so I'm worse off than I was before.
However, I now have some health issues and the medical folks are telling me I need to lose. We're giving it a bit of a go this week, my OH and me (as he says he wants to lose too) and we'll see how we go.
I'm not rejoining class, not yet anyway, but reading your original post, you could be me!
I totally sabotage myself at every opportunity and I have no idea why :-(

Think we all struggle or we would not be here.
I am going to rejoin this eve and see how I do. not expecting big losses as i am a slow and steady person but at least it will be a down not an up!!
