You can have them but you have to syn them or use them as a Healthy Extra (B choice). If you use it as a HEXB you have to leave the skin on and you get 227g of baking potatoes or 198g new potatoes.

Otherwise syns are ad follows:
Potatoes, all varieties, flesh & skin, raw, 100g 2½
New potatoes, in skins, raw/cooked without fat, 100g 3½
Potatoes, all varieties, flesh only, raw/cooked without fat, 100g 4

I don't have the latest book so I'm not sure if the amount has changed slightly but it WAS 227g of baking potato (raw weight) or 198g of new potatoes (raw weight).

Can i ask what sins would it then be for the tinned new potaotes, small can, i can't remember the weight. for both the red and green days ? please
 
Cool, i was thinking the ones in the tin might have to be sinned on a green day ( i've never really done green days ) as don't have their skin on, if you get me :)
 
You can have any potato - skin or no skinon green, and the same if you syn them on red, but for the healthy extra on red they need their skins :)
