Points in an indulgent sausage/egg muffin!

    Greedy yes I know...but I've no idea how many points could be in the above thing.

    It was from a greasy burger van but I've been feeling so poorly that it was greatly needed. I'm guessing oily and bog standard sausages and egg.

    In a buttered white roll. Am I looking at 15 points plus?

    With one sausage and butter, i reckon around 10 - 12 points.

    A white roll is 3 points, egg 1 point, butter, 1 point? and the sausage (cheap ones tend not to be too bad) I would say 3? So depending on how many sausages you had i would say anything between, 8-11 points. xx

    egg is 1 point boiled fried would be more

    In the food guide i have egg is 1.5 points x thats how ive been counting them and i eat loads! xx

    Im glad you posted this, Ive been tempted all week by a hot roll for breakfast at work. After seeing this and being reminded how many points they are - Ill stick to my WW tuna ;)

    I always count 1.5 points for an egg.

    Edited to add: just looked up the nutritional value of a medium egg (on the egg and nutrition website!) and it's 78 cals and 1.7g of sat fat, hence 1.5 points.

    I eat large or extra large eggs so probably should actually count them as 2 points!

    If you look at the cals and sat fat on a medium free range egg box it works out as 1 point.

    Interesting. I'll have to have a look at my egg box next time I have one. Maybe you have small eggs?
