I have started the extra easy plan today and wanted to know about porridge. What type can you have and how many syns? Also can it be a hexb?

Hi porridge is a HEX B choice. You can have 28g and 1 scan bran of oats. The oatso simple plan variety sachet is also a B choice.

I eat the oat-so-simple - very filling for breakfast so worth doing it if you think you're going to have a late lunch...

I'm not sure it is a heb on the EE plan. I know they have a much shortened list for heb's

Oatso so simple is 5 syns
the maple syrup one is 6.5

Hi, I checked this last week with my consultant - even though there is a short list in the EE book, you can use the HEX's from any of the red/green days. It keeps the new EE book smaller apparantly!!
