I've become rather nervous about shellfish in recent years, but I used to love the salt & chilli pepper king prawns from the chinese. They do go well with garlic & chilli.

Tesco diets low fat plan (which I am signed up for) excludes shellfish for some reason, I dunno why because as you say they are very low fat & low cal.

prawns are one of my favourites, they are perfect in curries, stir fries and risotto - however they are fairly high in cholesterol so if you have problems (I have genetic high cholesterol) you need to limit the amount you eat i.e once a week or so

I didnt think about the cholesterol, cheers for that Kimber!
I dont have shellfish much to be honest, just the occassional prawn mayo sandwich! haha.

Thats bizarre about the Tesco Diet Plan excluding it. I wonder why, maybe it is cos of the cholesterol? :)

Yeah, I guess it must be the cholesterol content - I never realised it was that high. They must figure people on the low fat plan are trying to lower their cholesterol. I really should get mine tested and see if this WOE makes any difference to it...
