PREGNANCY AND WW

    Hi everyone i was just wondering if anyone had any idea about doing ww whilst pregnant? Any info would be great. x

    I have often thought about this and my opinion on it is that you shouldnt really aim to lose weight but it is a good way of eating healthy for the baby and the maintenance part of it should be ideal. Other than that im not sure but it isnt healthy to lose weight as you need the extra cals for baby!

    They won't let you join an official WW meeting if you're pregnant, the official WW blurb says it's not suitable for pregnant women.

    but surely it would be better for me to loose weight this way now for it to be safer for the baby as im very overweight :(

    To be honest, I think you'd be better going to your GP for advice. WW don't say things just for the fun of saying them!

    No it wont help baby, the baby needs calories just the same as you so if you reduce your calorie intake there wont be enough. When your pregnant your weight should take a back seat and eating healthy is priority not losing weight :)

    you can do slimming world when preg...

    But tbh i cant see why you couldnt do it... work out how many extra calories you need ... sorry im not sure..

    convert that into points and add it to your allowence... and maybe a few more just incase...
