Quark

Err - what is it? Lol
 
LOL a virtually fat free soft cheese, great for sauces and to make a change from mayo. Googled since I posted and it's 3.9g carbs per 100, so not too bad, I guess.
 
I used to eat that a lot as a child in Germany, freshly made as well :)
 
I know Quark is allowed on dukan - you can make these lovely pancakes using quark and flax/oat bran...sorry that doesn't really help does it!
 
I used to love it spread on black bread and topped with chives Dana, I think we called it sahne qark
