Hi all,

This may sound like a stupid question but is all quark syn free? I bought some from Asda over the weekend that was Fat Free and I was fairly confident that was free. But they didn't have that last night so I bought a different pot which is Low Fat. Is that still syn free or does it have a syn value?

Hi Heather, did you ever find out the answer? I've never seen low fat varieties, I would imagine they'd be free.

No I didn't! No one seems to know But I still lost the week I ate it so presumably it's ok.

I've just checked online and these ones are free

tescos fat free quark
WW fat free quark
Asda fat free quark
Aldi fat free
Lake District fat free
Sainburys BGTY fat free

Don't suppose anyone knows if quark or which brand of quark is made from ewes milk?

Can't be 100% on this, but I saw a conversation on FB earlier, that seemed to say the low fat one is free as well. It's the flavours that have a syn value. Is the low fat the Golden Acre one?

Yeah it was the Golden Acre one. I haven't had it since cuz they've always had the fat free one in, but it's useful for future reference if it is free.
