I guess everyone has to find a way of eating healthier/loosing weight their own way. Hence the reason there are so many different forums on this website!
I enjoy calorie counting because to me it doesn't feel as if I am on a diet - I can eat whatever I want as long as I don't go over my daily/weekly calories.
The first few days of any 'diet' are always the hardest - getting used to new eating habits, less food etc. How many calories are you on per day? You could up your allowance by exercising more if that's the problem?
