Realistically ...........

    .......how much weight do you think I could lose in 3 months if I stuck to plan properly and didn't go over my syns??

    I have 4 stone to lose in total to take me back to my comfortable size 10/12 weight. Currently I'm a size 16/18.

    Realistically if you stuck to it 100% 7 days a week for 3 months you could lose 1 1/2 to 2 stone, if you have not been on a diet recently especially any liquid or very low calorie diets. But setting goals can sometimes lead to going off plan so set the goal that you will stick to plan and just be happy with any weight loss.

    I was hoping someone would say realistically 2 stone isn't out of my reach!! :)

    i would think 2 stone aint to much to aim for if u are going to stick to plan 100 % :) good luck

    SW say you should expect to lose around 1-2lbs a week, but it really depends on the person and how much they have to lose in the first place. Someone with a lot to lose will lose quicker at first than those with a stone to lose, but then it should slow down to 1 or 2 lbs a week. I started at a size 16/18 and it took me just over 2 months to lose my first stone.

    I really wouldn't give yourself a target like that, as it might have an effect on your motivation if you didn't reach that goal. Just stick to the plan, and celebrate your losses week by week.

    I started at a 16/18 with 4 stone to lose - I have lost 1 stone in 3 months. Plenty of people on here lose faster and plenty lose slower so it is hard to gauge - don't put too much pressure on yourself and enjoy the ride :)

    Thanks everyone ........I'll get cracking, stick to plan, do my new '30 day shred' dvd (which I'm a tiny bit scared of) and see what happens!! x
