Really hit home

Hey all,

I've been really off plan for a while and it really hit home how uncomfortable I am at this weight yesterday when the weather was nice and sunny. We went to Brighton and all the other girls were in little floaty dresses whilst I was in jeans and a t-shirt.

Also, I seem to have regained the weight around my tummy that makes me really uncomfortable, and gives me a real muffin top.

So...enough of the eating everything. I've started a new diary in the food diary section, and will write it down at home too. One day at a time....

good on you, you go girl! this time of year is the worst, especially clothes wise as winter its easy to hide behind baggy jumpers etc, good luck and remember YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!XXXX

Well done for getting back on the wagon. I got back on yesterday too. I have booked a holiday and don't want to be covering up and feeling annoyed that I haven't done anything to lose the lbs when I know I can ... and so can you! You could be at your goal weight by June, just ready for all of the lovely hot weather and more trips to the beach.

Thanks for all your encouragement, this place is so supportive! Lewby, you're so right - I have a holiday mid June and feel exactly the same as you. I see yours is just a month later, and you're right, we CAN both do it and will have better holidays.

Well done for getting back on the wagon :) It oo got back on last week, done pretty well I reckon for first week, got at home WI tomorrow. I too have a holiday (well 2 actually!) to lose weight for!

I can sooo relate to what you're saying!! Even though I've lost 2 1/2 stone (well very nearly!!), it's weather like this that makes me so eager to get to target (another 2 1/2 stone)! I do feel much better about myself- I can now wear jeans/trousers with fitted tops and not feel I've got to cover up with a cardy, but I'm nowhere near there yet! Great motivation though, and well done you for grabbing the bull by its horns!!XXX

the days of the floaty dresses are heading our way.
good for you to stop yourself and get back on your diet.

well done you for getting back on the wagon sometimes it is all we need to get back on it and stick to it ok you feel a bit uncomfortable now but wont be for long and you will be wearing that nice dress. you taken the firts step which is what you needed hun xxx

I sat down today and got out loads of photos of me and my mum (she is also on SW) and we sat and looked through them and that was really inspriational... even made me stick to not eating the skin of the roast chicken... my favourite part!!...will power and motivation is what you need and it seems like you are getting there. Well done x x

well done for getting back on!! I was totally off plan last week and struggled to get back on. I'll have to be honest and say I've probably only had 1 100% day this week. But the rest have been about 75-90% so I'm not kicking myself really. Hoping for another 100% day today as well. I've got a girls and boys holiday in september that I simply cannot be this big for!! It really does motivate me!! x

The weather this weekend really made me feel the same, its the worst time of year for trying to dress up, stay cool and not feel bad about yourself!!

I keep thinking about how good next summer will be... and that keeps me going! :eek:)
