Hi folks,
Sorry if this has been asked before, i am struggling to understand red & green, as my SWC has only gone into EE and i'm reading bits and pieces that just seem to confuse me lol.
could someone be super clear as to the difference please? (i really struggle with the 1/3 superfree, thats why i wanted to give the others a try)

My food today (would this be red, green or EE please?)

Banana
Vanilla Mullerlight

wholemeal roll (hexb)
20g cheese (hexa)

Jacket potato (about 220g)
Half a tin of beans
25g cheese (heba)

The cheese was light chedder so 45g total

Dash of milk
12 tictacs 1 syn

Thank you and once again sorry if this has been asked and answered before x

P.s i never eat breakfast but if it will help, i am happy to try x

i would go for green for today hun.:)

in ur book, everything in RED orORANGE is free on a red day and anything in GReen and ORANGE is free on a green day, then u have ur HEalthy extras (which there re more of for red/green - in ur book) and u can have 2 of each of those, then anything else is to be syn'd :)

so for today the banana and yog are fine, ur roll is fine (HEB 1) ur cheese is fine (HEA 1) Jacket potato is fine, the beans are fine :) so u still have 1 HEA and 1 HEB left plus syns :) X

Thank you so much..see you should be a consultant lol....nice bowl of shreddies i might have :)

Yes it would be a green day, but you need to eat more syns, eat more fruit and veg to make sure you have a healthy balanced diet, and basically eat more food. Gotta love SW! :)

Basically on green, meat and fish have to be synned or used as a healthy extra. You get two of each healthy extra and a wider range of 'b' choices (cheese, nuts and seeds). It's still recommended you have your superfree though.

Bugger...
i'm happy to have veg with my dinner, and i generally so have fruit during the day (was out all day) but not at breakfast or lunch, hence wanting to try one of either red or green..

A typical day would be
B cereal, cup of tea
S banana, mullerlight
L roll or cereal
S satsumas or apples
D roast, cottage pie etc (if hubby at home
OR
Jacket w/beans &cheese, pasta in tom sauce (no meat), egg chips beans (if hubby at work)

I don't tend to have "proper" meals when i don't have have hubby to cook for, i just do something quick and easy. I can't stand salad, but will happily have loads of veg with a roast or something like that.

Syn i always leave til the evening and generally get used on chocolate or biscuits with my evening cuppa (i don't drink so that helps i think) usually try and have no more than 10 as that is what our SWC recommended.

Thanks for the reply

I think today has turned into a green day as well somehow lol

B - banana & mullerlight, 250ml semi skimmed milk (hexa)

S - 2 apples

L - chicken omelette

S - 2 satsumas

D - new potatoes, carrot, beetroot, 45g r/f cheese (hexa) wholemeal roll (hexb)

Syns - 12 tictacs, 15g flora extra light

Total 2.5 (plus curly wurly later @ 6)
