    So, first day of a restart. Dad has been told he HAS to lose weight by the doctor, (he's been diagnosed with Prediabetes) so that finally means I can start doing a diet and not have it scuppered each evening by unhealthy meals, and I've given him my old Slimming World cookbooks, so at last we're on the same page! Yay! Although he's just calorie counting and not slimming world, it still all helps.

    It's been quite a while since I did Slimming World, but it's all coming back slowly. So, yeah, first day again today, and so far, so good. Had a lovely lunch from M+S today, and dad's doing salad for tonight. Need to plan tomorrow's lunch for when I'm back at work and stock up on fruit....

    Thanks! Dad has gotten off to a great start - he's lost 4 lb in as many days! (But he has a lot to lose, so expecting that!) I've started a little slower, and I'm refusing to weigh myself until at least halfway though the first week.... Which is tomorrow! I've been really good so far and haven't even gone over by a single syn - the least I've had is 7 syns, the most is 14. I know the importance of having your syns, so I am making sure I have my minimum of 5 a day. So far, this is turning out to be much easier than it was last time! (even though Dad caved today and bought Profiteroles. I'm refusing to have any!)

    Wow resisting profiteroles is very impressive!
    I've been trying really hard & just getting on scales once a week at class - helps avoid the ups & downs & how my eating reacts to them but I do get so nervous when weighing in :eek:
