So I've indulged in some lovely rhubarb and the nutritional info from my asda packet says 0.8g per 100g carbs.

Imagine my surprise when logging it when 100g rhubarb came up as 5g carbs!

I'm totally confused and Googling has confused me further!

Can anyone help?
The 400g I thought were 4g in total may have been 20g!!!

I love rhubarb too but kept away from it because I thought it was high in sugar and fibre - sorry I can't help, there are so many carb counters out there.

I would say, don't worry, you've eaten and enjoyed it - maybe steer clear until you're in OWL :)

Rhubarb is fine as long as you count it - I count it as 5g per 100g so only ever have that much.

Thanks for all your help guys! Not entirely sure why the values were so totally different! I will stick to 100g in future :)

Sometimes the labelling can be confusing and even just plain wrong
