    hi everyone i have been given a big bag of rhubarb which i love how is the best way to cook it as someone once told me that if you stew it it becomes sins as there are alot of natural sugars please can someone let me know if this is true or not .thanks

    just been looking through old threads and found my answer . im gutted but i wont waste it just going to treat myself to a bit of it.

    Sorry hun I dont know any other way of cooking it except stewing but it has a very low syn value so its not too bad.

    Well worth the syns, lovely stewed with a bit of greek yoghurt

    Yum steph. Love greek yogurt esp with fresh raspberries. 198g is actually quite a lot and its really low in syns. Id rather eat a bowl bowl of rhubard and yogurt than a bag of 9syn crisps.

    you can eat it raw - tiz very nice! we used to have it in our garden when i was a kid and we'd just eat a stick of it, but dip it in sugar everytime you go to take a bite. could try it with sweetener...though i'm not sure if that would taste very nice.

    worth a try though as it's SUPERSPEED food on a red or green day!!!

    you could grate some rhubarb into a bowl, sprinkle it with sweetener and top with a muller light yogurt.

    Don't forget that 454g of stewed rhubarb is also a HEb.

    454g of rhubarb stewed, can be used as a hxb, thats a fair bit of rhubarb:)

    283g apple and 283g of rhubarb stewed is a HXB too! so you can have a mixture and maybe not be so long on the loo! ha ha

    Dont talk about Bowels...... I am having a really really bad day!!!! all because I took 1 teeny weeny dulcolax, never again!

    Yeah they work well but maybe too well. You should try glycerine suppositories, they're easy cause they work within 20 mins with no real nasty side effects like cramps.
