Risotto rice

I made a recipe for mushroom risotto from the magazine which was great but look a little time.

I have noticed that there are a few packet versions out there does anyone know the syn values for Uncle Ben's grilled Mediterranean veg and the Riso Gallo mushroom ones? Don't want to ruin all my hard work by trying to cut corners until I'm sure!!

But don't expect them to be as nice as the one you cooked from scratch. They are OK, but the texture is quite different.

A proper risotto does take time - oh, but it is lovely! I like the Butternut Squash one with chilli.

Thanks they aren't as bad as I thought they would be!!

I agree they won't be as nice but when I get in at 9pm after being out all day some evening a good quick meal
