Hi everyone!
I am on day 8 of my SW online journey. I thought I'd backdate my food diary for last week as I have kept a record. I think it will keep me on track and accountable if I share everything.

Week 1
Fri 4 Aug
Breakfast: Boiled Eggs x 2. Fruit Salad (Passion fruit, Blueberries, peaches)
Lunch: Jacket Potato, Beans, large mixed salad
Dinner: Brown rice mixed veg (roasted red pepper, green beans and sweetcorn) Oven baked cod, 3 small fillets
Snacks: Alpro yoghurt, half a big tub (1 syn) watermelon. Oats with choc Alpro (Hex A&B)
Sat 5 Aug
Breakfast: Overnight oats with choc Alpro (Hex A&B) Fruit Salad (Pear. Blueberries, watermelon)
Lunch: Chicken breast, pepper sauce (free) mixed salad
Dinner: Egg fried rice (2 x eggs, brown rice) 1 grilled chicken breast, small amount mixed roasted veg, tender stem broccoli.
Snacks: Alpro yoghurt, half a big tub (1 syn) pear, Watermelon, peach. 1 mint Aero, 1 chunky kit kat (25.5)
Sun 6 Aug
Breakfast: Overnight oats with choc Alpro (Hex A&B) Watermelon, Apple, Blueberry
Lunch: Eggs x 2, Quorn Sausages x 3 (3 syns) BBQ sauce (1) Apple, peach
Dinner: Jacket potato, beans, roasted red peppers, veggie bean burger (5.5 syns)
Snacks: Alpro yoghurt, half a big tub (1 syn) peach, pear
Mon 7 Aug (SP day)
Breakfast: Overnight oats with choc Alpro (Hex A&B) Apple, pear
Lunch: Large mixed salad, Tuna in spring water
Dinner: Large Chicken breast, tender stem broccoli, carrots, gravy (4 syns)
Snacks: Alpro yoghurt, half a big tub (1 syn) peach, pear. 2 x Alpen light bars (2nd Hex B)
Tue 8 Aug
Breakfast: Alpro yoghurt, half a big tub (1 syn) banana, 1 teaspoon honey (1 syn) banana, strawberries
Alpro milk in lattes (Hex A) 2 x Alpen light bars (HexB)
Lunch: Wholemeal pitta bread (8 syns) veggie bean burger (5.5 syns) yeast flakes (2 syns) salad
Dinner: Savory packet rice (from Aldi, free) salmon fillets with marinade (2 syns) broccoli. carrots. Apple, orange.
Wed 9 Aug
Breakfast: Overnight oats with choc Alpro (Hex A&B) Apple, pear.
Lunch: Vegetable rice (roasted peppers, courgettes, sweetcorn) Roasted chick peas. Large mixed salad.
Dinner: Jacket potatoes, quorn sausages x 3 (3 syns) beans, yeast flakes (2 syns) 3 large grilled tomatoes
Snack: HUGE galaxy bar (22.5 syns)
Thur 10 Aug (SP Day)
Breakfast: 3 x grilled tomatoes, 3 x scrambled eggs
Lunch: 4 x Ryvita (HexB) chicken breast, salad. Alpro drink in coffees (HexA)
Dinner: Baked cod, broccoli
Snacks: Alpro yoghurt, half a big tub (1 syn) banana, 1 teaspoon honey (1 syn) Apple, peach. 2 x Alpen light bars (2nd HexB)

Came in at under 105 syns for the week. I know there is some debate about storing up syns and using more than 15 some days, but I will play it by ear and see how my weight losses go.

Weighed in on Friday AM, lost 9lbs!

Breakfast: Overnight oats with choc Alpro (Hex A&B) frozen raspberries.
Lunch: Savory packet rice (from Aldi, free) tuna, roasted chick peas, large mixed salad.
Dinner: Brown rice, grilled chicken, huge edamame bean stir fry
Snacks: Alpro yoghurt, one big tub (2 syn) Snackrite Aldi crispy fries, 1 pack (3.5 syns)
Supernoodles very low fat (free) 1 pack. Carrot and cucumber sticks.

(5.5 syns used / 99.5 remaining for the week)

sorry just reread - 9lbs in week one! Wow! Well done! Any tips?
I know, it's pretty huge! I am guessing it's just so big because it's week 1. My number 1 tip going from what I did last week would be the the grocery shop is EVERYTHING! Prepare and make sure that you have tons of really nice speed free stuff in. Got to love Aldi and their weekly super 6 offers, that's why I had so many passion fruits and peaches last week! Also, try to drink lots of water, I struggle sometimes but last week I had 2-3 litres each day. To help with this, I bought a big sports 1 litre bottle and a big plastic reusable straw, really makes it go down a lot easier.

Dinner: Savory rice (free from Aldi) Oven baked haddock, broccoli, sugar snap peas.
Snacks/drinks: 3-4 pieces of fruit (free/speed) Cadbury Twirl (11.5) a huge bag of kit kat bites (27 syns) Small glass of low alcohol wine (4 syns)
45.5 syns used / 54 remaining for the week

Thanks for subscribing! Will try to keep up the photos, I think it's s good record and encourages me to keep my food as colourful as possible!
 
Wow I didn't realise yeast flakes have a syn value. Learning a lot from your diary! And yummy photos

Ahh thanks! :) Unfortunately they do, if they didn't I'd eat them out of the tub by the spoonful!

Sun 13 Aug
Breakfast: Choc Alpro overnight oats (Hex A&B) Blueberries and peach
Lunch: Low fat super noodles, grilled chicken breast, a peach.
Dinner: Jacket potato, Beans, 3 x Quorn sausages (3 syns) yeast flakes (2 syns) Roasted red peppers and tomatoes.
Snacks: Mango, Carrot sticks

I fully appreciate that the pic of my dinner may not look too appetising! I like the roasted peppers and tomatoes burnt to a crisp!
I have also prepped my overnight oats for tomorrow, made my lunch to take to work tomorrow and prepared a plate of fruit for picking on for the fridge (Papaya seeds left in until I am ready to eat them so they don't go mushy, I don't eat the seeds, honest!)

I'll be keeping an eye on this, interested to know if the whole "saving syns" thing is a myth. *stares at kit kat bites*. Hope they where worth it at 27 syns haha :)

They were gooooood! I'm going to see how I go with the counting down from 105 syns again this week. Next week I will experiment with 15 a day and see which suits me best. 9lbs last week storing them up but with it being week 1 I guess that may have been a one off. I'm all or nothing so I think the storing will be the way to go for me, depending on losses of course! Weigh in Friday, watch this space!
 
Week 2
Mon 14 Aug (SP Day)

Breakfast: Choc Alpro overnight oats (Hex A&B) Strawberries and raspberries
Lunch: Shredded omelette (3 x eggs) with large mixed salad. Half a big tub of Alpro youghurt (1 syn) with Strawberries and raspberries and 1 teaspoon honey (1 syn)
Dinner: Oven baked haddock fillets, broccoli and carrots
Snacks: 2 x Alpen lights bars (2nd Hex B) A Cadburys Twirl (11.5 syns) a pack of Aldi Crispy Fries (3.5 syns) Strawberries, Pear.
Fancied a cup of tea with 1 sugar and a dash of almond milk in to have with my snacks (read, to dip my twirl into!) Allowing 1.5 syn for that. Correct me if I’m wrong please, anyone?

Also, have started drinking more fizzy water as I find it goes down easier and makes me feel full. Had 4 500ml bottles at work today, so 2 litres with lots of lemon, lime and fresh ginger. Plus another litre of still water at home. Really want to keep my water intake high, so am happy with that!

Lunch for tomorrow prepped (am having a day off from overnight oats for breakfast tomorrow!) also curry sauce made and in the fridge for chicken curry for dinner.

18.5 syns used today / 30.5 syns remaining for the week (Tue, wed, thur)

You will need to add an extra 6 syns to that last day unfortunately as you used your HEXB twice :p

What do those alpen yogurts taste like? They seem pretty decent on the syn values

No, it's a SP day (stated at top) so you get 2 Hex Bs. They are the best yoghurts ever so so creamy! Try them. Amazing!
