Roast Potatoes

    I am just thinking about dinner tomorrow and wondered do you all have roast potatoes and if so how do you cook yours and i also couldnt find a fat content on them if they are sprayed with fry light?

    No idea hun, as I don't have roast potatoes when I do my roast, I'd imagine done with fry light they would be fine though x

    I think with fry light they would be fine, just count the fat content of the potato. I had mccains home roasts this week and they were in the rules.

    My Mum uses sunflower frylight for the roasties and they are yummy :) x

    I personally use the principle that 2 small roasties is good for me and same with chicken breast, as long as there is no skin, no visible fat and its grilled or roasted without fat it will be ok, so far this principle has suited fine :)

    Thanks Chala. Think i will use the same principle. I am going to do myself a small chicken breast grilled in the george foreman, couple roasties sprayed with frylight, couple tablespoons of Bisto Best pork gravy and veggies. Yummy :D

    I cheat and buy Tesco's frozen roasties! lol. They are lower fat than the Aunt Bessie ones. I enjoy them though.

    Fry light is fine, makes nice chips too but get the buttery one instead of the olive oil one :)

    Potatoes have a very low fat content so really wouldn't worry about it all, would have to eat a big sack to have any side effect from the tablets!
